![]() This takes place right before Diablo 3 and deals with a ton of NPCs from that game before you aid/kill them there. The story is…well it’s a Diablo story, which I’ve never found terribly compelling. But I understand that some things had to be slimmed down in order to make this work, and so far, all the sacrifices are things I’ve been willing to part with. ![]() My Barbarian, for instance, cannot wield a sword and shield or a two-handed weapon, only two-weapons, berserker-style. It will be shorter, and it has been streamlined. I never feel like the game isn’t doing what I tell it to, and the system they’ve developed here is fantastic. ![]() The touch controls for one-off, aimed and channeling skills all feel shockingly good, all with some amount of auto-aim in there to help you out rather than frustrate you. Like I was when I played the alpha, I am deeply impressed with how Diablo Immortal plays on my iPad, and also impressed with the fact that they realized they should do a PC port as well, which launches later today, in case everyone does not in fact, have phones. ![]()
